Not feeling in a very grateful mood this morning. I'm in more of a "woe is me, nobody knows the trouble I've seen" frame of mind. Which probably makes counting my blessings even more important, right? Right.
- For a safe, warm, clean(ish) home, even if it is not my own.
- For Josiah spontaneously naming the people in his family, and remembering to include baby sister.
- For Josiah sleeping in his toddler bed for a week and a half with almost complete success. (We've had one nap that didn't happen, and he is for some reason waking up sad at around 4am every morning, but those things could happen in the crib.)
- For a productive weekend wherein I got all the end of year tax stuff hanging over my head finished. Phew.
- For the first really good haircut I've gotten in, oh, a few years?
- That every day is a new day.
What are YOU thankful for today? (Hopefully more things than me.)

Happy Thankful Tuesday, Amy. I had the exact same haircut as you 3 years ago. It's still darling, if I do say so myself. Hope you feel a little less "woe is me" now than you did this morning. I'm grateful for your list!
How did you decide to grow your hair back out, and when you did decide, how did you do it? I think I still love my short hair, but there are days when I miss having longer hair. But I can't stand it when it starts growing out, I feel like I would have to go into seclusion (with no mirrors either!) for 6 months in order to ever grown my hair out!!
I can never keep a hairstyle long so it wasn't that hard for me...though I do look back at some pictures and cringe. I think it's all about keeping the long on the front, short in the back look while you grow it long enough for a bob. Then making the switch. You have to commit to keeping it cute while you grow! :)
